It focuses on practical software applications for healthcare and life sciences,
mainly in the molecular biology area.
Interactive Biosoftware is based in the beautiful city of Rouen,
the historical capital of Normandy,
France, in the Seine Biopolis biomedical dedicated entreprise area.
The name of the company is inspired by the idea that interactions
between humans and computers give rise to powerful effects (see Peter Wegner's paper
Why Interaction Is More Powerful Than Algorithms).
The company is closely connected
to the internationally recognized Rouen University Hospital Genetics Department and to the Molecular Genetics research group of
Rouen University (INSERM U614).
