Installing the Alamut® Focus software requires the following system specifications:
OPERATING SYSTEM
- 32-bit or 64-bit Windows OS (Windows XP, or later).
- MAC OS X Snow Leopard/Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite/El Capitan (Mac OS X 10.6-10.7-10.8-10.9-10.10-10.11).
INTERNET CONNECTION
An internet connection is required for license activation, for searching variants and viewing genes.
MINIMAL HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
- Quad-Core Processor, 3 GHz minimum.
- 4 GB RAM minimum.
- 200 MB hard drive space for installation
Note: Free disk space is also required to store projects and annotated variants. Currently 1MB is required for 1,000 variants and related annotations.
